TODAY’S JOYCE MEYER DEVOTIONAL 8 AUGUST 2022, MONDAY
TOPIC: HOW TO LIVE AN EXCELLENT LIFE
Scripture: Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. Daniel 6:3 (NKJV)
Think about what would happen if all of us woke up each day and decided that whatever we did, we would do it with excellence. We would give it our all and do our best with nothing less than a hundred percent.
Would it change our impact? Would it change our relationships? Would it change the world? I believe it would!
Doing things with excellence means you don’t take shortcuts. You don’t take the easy way just for the sake of its being easy. Instead, whatever you’re doing, you give it your very best effort.
Make a decision to be an excellent person today. Slow down, think seriously about what you are doing, and ask yourself if you’re doing it with your whole heart, and doing your very best.
Prayer Starter: Lord, I know that it’s important to do everything to the best of my ability. Please help me to be a person who walks in excellence, amen.
